The season had a few slow periods, but for the most part fishing was fantastic. The year started with trophy brown trout fishing in March. Milwaukee is becoming the go to place in the country for trophy trout. This year we offered  perch/salmon trips from the port of waukegan. TREMENDOUS catchesof cohos. Limits on 95% of our trips in the spring. It took a couple trips to figure out how to fish the perch in a 33 foot boat, but once we did it was game on. When we returned to Milwaukee in June “KING ” fishing was in full swing. Fishing Milwaukee was productive on a day to day basis with a few slow days thrown in there. September offered up some big kings and we found a fall brown trout pattern that rocked for 2 weeks. The offshore bite was awesome for steelhead and cohos when we had trips that were more than 5 hour trips. Just takes too long to get to them, but if you can it’s killer. The highlight of the year was our Brew City Salmon Tournament WIN. 174 pounds of salmon caught in a 7 hour period, beating the next closest boat by 17 pounds, and the kicker is that we did it with charter clients!!!! All in all a great season averaging just over 13 fish per trip. We will be kickin off the season in late February with the brown trout. Until then have a happy, safe holiday season
